Genre mode searches YouTube Music results once, filters them, then reuses a cached pool. Search quality depends on YouTube results.
Saved music-source data is reused for 7 days and survives Docker restarts. If YouTube quota is exhausted, older saved copies are used automatically.
Cached playlists/genres keep working during YouTube quota outages. Playback failures are quarantined after two failures.
Continuous keeps the song playing for the full timer and scores speed + finishing place.
When enabled, the host can assign players to Red, Blue, Green or Gold from the player list. Individual scores still count, with a team total shown too.
Optional: pair your phone as a private Host Remote so you can paste playlists, change settings and control rounds without typing with the TV remote. Normal PC/browser hosting works without this.
